"Venice Bridge" ashtray

Year 2016

Project carried out by Marmi Fabbri Bellaria I.M. and Il Marmista del Piratello Imola

Design presented at The White Drake exhibition, Galleria Giudecca 795 Venice, October 22nd – 29th, 2016.

The Venice Bridge is a designer multipurpose object made of Carrara white marble. The low relief imprints a section stylized with the Venice map on the marble block which symbolizes the intersection between the Giudecca channel and the Grand Canal. The cavity recalls an arcade of a “bridge” to emphasize the historical role of Serenissima, which is the emblem of the free independence and wise harmony between the Western and the Eastern cultures.
